Babies ARE Genius!!

I know it has been said by many and not that I do not believe it. I've witness it myself - my niece age 16month can read! Yup, she can read. Salute lah baby! And so, I pun haruslah mau my son can read as early as he can. Dont get me wrong ya, as much as I wanted him to know how to read, I also want him to enjoy learning. How? To be honest I dont have the exact way on how to teach my baby to read. All I know, stimulate the baby and play with him. Yes, play! Not just goo goo gaa gaa him, I also play flashcards and most of the time I just talk and sing to him.

As what the founder of Genius Baby On Board say, all babies are genius and they learn without an effort! MasyaALLAH, hebat betul ciptaan Allah ni. Yes, effort-less. Sejak kembali bekerja, to tell you the truth I memang tak do masa sangat nak mengajar my baby like SAHM or WAHM but I know that 'nak seribu daya, tak nak seribu dalih' aite? What I do? Letak all the vids kat handphone and burn vcd for my baby. Sebelum pergi kerja pasang kat TV, on the way pi kerja pasang kat HP. I dont care if he didnt focus on it or not yang penting I play it for him. Bila kat traffic light, I showed him. Itu lah time I teach him. Learn his song and even make my own song. Hentam sajalah labu janji there's message in the song. Armani boy loves songs. Dia boleh senyap when I sing or play a song. Now dah tau his favourite song senang lah. The vcds yang I burn tu, I gave to his baby sitter and ask her to please play the vcd for Armani boy. I dont want my baby to stay there and do nothing. At least he listen to the words if dia tak focus pun.

And now at the age of 4month, i think he knows a few words already. Tak kisah lah if it's just a coincidence but a mommy's instinct tells me that Armani boy knows the word. This is Armani boy's fav song :

A phonic song.

Carilah useful vids kat youtube tu berlambak but I love this 1. Catchy song and tak lah lembab or laju sangat. When Armani boy first listen to this dia senyap. Then he want more of it and now he knows the word and sometimes I even think he tried to make the sound of the alphabet. Armani boy will laugh everytime the vid shows the word "phonic song". Memula tak perasan, and then I notice he smiled and excited sekejab sekejab. Masa I sang the song with him baru perasan and I was like OMG!! Alhamdulillah!! Did my son just read? Ah tak pedulik lah if it's just a coincidence, but i know he knows the word. 

Coincidence lagi ke when I play him Your Baby Can Read vid and she smile at certain words. Oh yang pasti he just loves word of an animal. Agaknya dari kecik I play flashcard words animal je kot.Huhu..Tak kisah lah. Then I notice he smiled and excited when he saw a picture of a horse. Ok this vid yang ada horse ni I baru je start pasang and I terkejut when Armani boy recognize a word HORSE. Selalu main flashcards the word is HORSES. Wow!!! Babies are GENIUS!!

Now I tengah kumpul duit nak beli Little Reader. My niece dah ada and when Armani boy watch together with her, tak berkelip mata! Dia sangat focus!! He really loves to learn. Harus mommy beli! Tak makan lunch sebulan pun tak pe ye anak janji kamu dapat belajar!

When there's a will, there's a way

Ya, saya sangat bersetuju dengan tajuk entri kita pada kali ini. Definitely when there's a will there's a way. Kenapa? Kerana entri kali ini adalah mengenai saya yang telah kecundang kini seolah-olah mendapat sinar harapan baru. Ceeewaahh! Sinar harapan lah sangat, tapi I hope there's still hope.

Semalam, I met this 1 pharmacist. i dont know how, I dont know where I got guts I just dont know. All I know suddenly I befriended with her. Well to me it may be a sign or it's just another coinsidence. Tak kisah lah apa pun, tapi pertemuan semalam telah mengubah fikiran saya abit.

I was once given up in fully breastfeed. Mengalah, redha lah konon-konon tak apa lah tak dapat fully breastfeed and nak kasi je baby what's left with me. It didn't occur to me langsung yang sebenarnya my thought tu sebenarnya thought orang yang putus asa. No wonder production makin low. Yes, walaupun I've already mixed EBM and FM, tak bermakna I cannot fully breastfeed my baby kan? My friend berjaya fully bf walaupun at 1st she needed to topup with FM. Kenapa tak I? Why why why?

That kakak pharmacist taught me to express breast milk using hand. I punya lah tak reti dulu nak express milk guna tangan je turns out senang! Of course lah 1st try tak dpt banyak. Ia di bantu jugak dengan expressing using electric breast pump but it surely ada abit of improvement in the quantity. Owh suka!

I feel

Tidak semena-mena, I regreted that I've given up for a while there. Now I've found my strength back.

There's a will there's a way aite? Jadi..

Getting back into shape

Nope, not yet. The baby bump is still here. Kicking actively siang dan malam. As long as dia ok kat dalam tummy mommy ni, I'm ok juga. Ikut kamu lah nak oi nak keluar bila pun. Mommy's gonna wait till you are ready. Jangan lama sangat ye, tak mo di induce lah darling. It means forcing you out when it is still not your time. Mommy kesian kat baby.

Anyway, though you are still in my tummy my dear baby, mommy harus bersedia untuk get back into shape. Harus nak oi. You got to have a vogue mommy tau baby dear. Hahaha.. Haruslah! Kalau tak mana mommy nak campak jeans Levis kesayangan mommy tu? Owh tidak!! Mommy pemakai jeans tegar dear!

haaa..tengok tu..sape nak pakai ni nanti? Siapa? Siapa?

Since nak get back into shape ni perlukan pemangkin yang maha hebat, jadi 1 of it is by being able to fit in all of my jeans balik!! HARUS!! Baby dearie, you kena tolong mommy hokay!! Owh, I even put it in my 2011 New Year's resolution list. Nasib baik lah provide 1 page je untuk azam baru, kalau banyak page ntah kan dapat achieve kan tidak semua tu. Harus achieve lah kan dah namanya berazam? Well, at least try to achieve it.

Ok, tidak lah menarik jika sesuatu yang di target itu tidak mempunyai reward bukan? Jadi, secara tidak sengaja tadi I dah ter...'ter' means tak sengaja find me a reward untuk getting back into shape!

Yes! Harus memilikinya apabila target telah tercapai nanti. Yang paling menarik sekali, I found sponsorship untuk itu!! Hehehe, though still pending, harus ku pujuk sampai dapat a solid YES for an answer.

Harus lah memiliki nya sebab get back into shape bukan setakat body ye puan-puan, kaki juga! Lihat kaki ku sekarang....

Now cuba cakap, harus kembalikan bentuk asal ke tak? Cakap..cakap..?

My friend here is an authorised dealer for the product. Well, imma put it in my list in case the target seems sungguh jauh untuk dicapai. I heard it's quite pricey. Mommy nih dah lah sayang duit sikit orang nya. Tapi kalau beli as an investment tak pe kan? Hehehe..Nak body lawa tak? Nak tak? Nak tak? Nak ke tak nak nih?

Haih..till then lah. Nak pergi tengok what else yang tak cukup before I go for confinement and anything yang boley di reward myself lagi untuk kembali langsing selepas melahirkan.

Last week I've been busy surveying on breastpump to prepare myself for fully breastfeeding my soon to come out baby nih. Bermacam-macam jenis dan brand. Pening kepala nih nak membuat keputusan. I did some study on which is good and memang VALUE FOR MONEY. Yup, we are on a tight budget skit.

The above breastpump ni was my main choice. I like the features semua, in fact i think it is really value for money to have it. Then i continue on searching the best value for money breastpump and i found out that this breastpump tak sesuai untuk heavy duty pumping. Boleh pump 2-3 times daily je. I nak fully breastfeed my baby, i think 2-3 times daily macam tak cukup. Some more I ada baca here where at least kena ada yang hospital grade breastpump which means heavy duty la. Lagipun this is my 1st baby, I wouldn't want it to use it once je then the next baby kena beli lagi..No, no, no no.. Jangan membazir. Might as well spend untuk something yang tahan lebih lama.

So I switch to this :

My biras been using this. Dia kata ni pun dah ok sangat. So I take into consideration lah but the main thing or feature yang buat I opt to another breastpump is because it can be only use by electric. Tak boleh guna battery. My biras ada manual pump so, it's not a problem to her lah kan kalau takde feature tu. To me, kenapa kena ada 2 pump sedangkan 1 boleh works with or without electricity. Ye lah, the manual is useful kalau in case you travel long distance. Mana nak carik electricity kalau dalam kereta or dalam flight, aite? In my case I memang akan travel long distance because my husband is married to orang yang ada kampung halaman nun jauh di sana. Jadi this pump is a no no to me.

Next on my quest in finding what's the best pump for me I jumpa this :

I'm thinking of having it this weekend. Baru nak try tengok the thing macam mana in real life. Barang-barang macam ni tak berani lah nak beli online.

Owh, i forgot to tell you why I choose this. It's because it comes dengan cooler bag and 2 milk storage sekali. Hehehe. If nak beli cooler bag tu the price is puluh-puluh jugak. So, consider it done by buying breastpump ini sahaja. Cuma kena add on ice pack untuk cooler bag tu.

Next thing on the list yang important jugak to me is warmer. Dah freeze kan breastmilk misti lah nak kena ada milk warmer kan. Ok now nak pergi survey.

Is it already time to buy?

Kalau dikira-kira kan, this week my baby is turning 22 or 24week in my tummy. if convert into month my baby shud already be either 5 1/2 month or 6 month already. Baby mummy is getting bigger, so is mummy's tummy. I feel blessed and thankful and excited! Owh not to forget, nervous and scared too! I'm too happy feeling my baby moved in my tummy sampaikan I forgot things to prepare for expecting mummy. My Mr.H yang tiba-tiba reminds me of it. Seriously, feeling the baby moving inside you sangat lah meng'happy'kan. I even laugh with my baby, talking to the baby apa lah yang dia tengah buat sekarang. Kadang-kadang terasa tak selesa jugak when the baby kicks, kadang- kadang terasa macam geli-geli, and kadang- kadang terasa macam dia menggaru-garu! What ever it is, the feeling of it memang tiada galang ganti nya.( Waaah..my BM is getting good is it?) hahaha..

Ok, 6 month being preggy already. Is it the time to buy and prepare for everything? As for now, I'm just surveying baru the breastpumps and the accessories, things yang patut ada and tak perlu beli sangat. We are on tight budget. Almaklumlah miskin bandar. Hahaha. I memang dah niat nak fully breastfeed kan my baby. Selain dah makin celik dengan benefits breastfeeding ni, memang I nak bagi sebab nak the bonding between the baby and mummy tu strong!

So the 1st thing is breastpumps and its accessories lah. Some of my friends bought yg RM100+ punya je, tapi apa yang I surveyed kat baby store online ni price nya mostly RM300+. Pening pulak nak beli yang mana. Nak tau yang mana bagus yang mana tak yang mana better investment. Yelah, I'm not going to use it for my 1st baby je, untuk my future baby jugak. So here's the shortlisted breastpump. Gonna continue surveying more.

My SIL bought the manual 1 untuk pump dalam kereta. To me if i buy the Uni Mom, it can be operated using battery, so tak payah lah nak beli manual punya. 

I'm gonna continue survey the value for money breastpump lagi. Haish, how i wish money is not the matter here. Bersabar Yemma, what's the fun in it kalau everything pun you can get easily. (Hahaha, nak sedapkan hati sendiri lah ni)

Sesudah membersihkan diri, ey cey cey..cakap je lah baru sudah mandi. Jenguk-jenguk sang suami sedang buat apa. Layan sangat depan laptop tu, ape agaknya yang sedang encik suami lakukan. Menyedari kehadiran saya, terus di tanya " nak menari ramai ramai?" Menari? Ramai ramai? Biar lah benar suami ni.

Lepas tu penat lah si suami ni menerangkan panjang lebar tapi bile tengok muka isteri macam kalau-baling-pemadam-papan-hitam ni best ni, terus dia tunjukkan aja laman sesawang ni. Teruja tengok.teehee~

The story goes when i was looking at the clothes kat dlm store tu..then ttbe my eyes caught this jacket kat this patung. At that time i was like, eh nice betul lah. Then, i looked for it, cari² di manakah terletaknyer that jacket? Takkan lah ade 1 tu je kan? The moment i rs mcm give up nak cr, then suddenly i saw ia bergantungan.. BYK lagi..hehehe.. Belek² the price, belek² the material, belek² itu ini then terlintas lah di kotak fikiran ku utk try it on. After it's a jacket,tak pyh ssh² queue kat fitting room. The moment i sarung....AHHH~ tak terkata perasaannyer (if u have passion on something, bygkan u r right in front of it and dgn perasaan HARUS DIBELI ini item)..That shoud do kot to describe my likey on that jacket. It may look plain/biasa je on org lain, but who cares wut others think..

Akan tetapi, look at keadaan sekarang ni..nobody cares of wut u wear, how u wear it dh. I once was told that berfesyen is all abt self-confidence. No matter wut u wear, how u wear it, as long as u got confident n comfortable (haruslah!!)..i bet the msg sampai to ppl out there. sebagai contoh, u wear it like u r a diva..feel it n im totally sure that ppl will look at u the same..but of course (harus lah sekali lagi ditegaskan) berbekalkan self-esteem yg tinggi.


As for me, be true to yourself. U r wut u wear. Dont think of wut ppl might say, cz they'll say it whether u like it or not. U dont wear something to impress ppl aite?(wz talking abt the casual wear)..and if u do nak impress ppl, i must say done over do it. Petua ku, comfortable n confident..

haha..true..true..SO TRUE!!
funny im stating it in my blog but yeap..when there's a will there sure is a way!
the thing is im actually choosing my 'WANT(S)' over my meal. sounds sgt xpatut but i surely am doing it.
bukan ape..somehow the power to want the thing sgt lah kuat n i sanggup skip my meal all because of it. worth it ke? i dont really care if it's worth it or not but..
all i know is that i want it n will works my ass hard to have it..
sometimes mcm tertanya² "y lah im not born rich" hehe..biasalah when u idamkan something yg ssh nak dpt..
but come to think of it, bile ssh nak dpt something tu misti kita sgt appreciate benda tu aite? and it's like altho the thing tak lah best mana but u tend to find the good thing out of it.

so, lesson to learn here is belajar BERSABAR!! selain drpd tu, belajar BERSYUKUR dgn ape yg ade!!
